On this date, 8/30/2020, seven of us worked to replace the old 4 bay dipole at the top of the tower and removed the club's microwave dish.
The workers were Rusty KE2PW, Dave N2QPP, Tom N1YR, Grayson N2KAE, Ken KN2G, Rocco WU2M, and Pete W2PR. Dave did the climbing. He did a stalwart job.
The old antenna possibly had water in the phasing harness. It provided very little coverage. The outside physical appearance looked good.
The Cedar Grove Amateur Radio Club, WW2G, donated a not long used commercial antenna, probably a DB225. We retuned it to 147 MHZ. The SWR was great.
A very good job was done by all.
